		<description>I found it interesting that God said he forgave the people because Moses asked Him to, but the penalty of their sin was still large.  I guess it was better for many to die rather than all of Israel being disinherited.  It&#039;s amazing that no matter how many times Israel doubted and turned away from God, he still forgave them.  He has a lot more patience than I do!</description>
